I got what I paid for. - it was cheap. I was disappointed that they had advertised a pool and hot tub - the pool has been cemented over for a long time and the hot tub was out of order. The customer service was very good.

Stayed here in early fall. Room was clean, beds and bathrooms fine. We requested a refrigerator and microwave in the room at booking time, and both worked well. WiFi was fine. Breakfast was included, very basic, options limited to english muffins, cereal, and waffles.
A/C in our room was broken. We reported it to the owner when we checked out.
Nice proximity to mount Katahdin which we drove up to hike. Can't beat the price and we found it to be nice and clean. We also got the chance to speak with the owner who said he is in the process of making a camping area with some of the property out back and will be doing some upgrades to the hotel in the near future as well. They also do rafting trips from here in the summer months. We did not get to go to the restaurant on site, but the bar was pretty nice and he had some decent beers on tap which was really nice after a long day of hiking. Overall, we would definitely come back to stay here in the future.
Since the motel is on the main road through Millinocket, ask for a room on the back side if you prefer quiet.
Ovearll, the motor lodge is a bit older, showing its age, but very reasonable for the price. I would stay here again.
We stayed here for the MRE rafting adventure that we found on a groupon. The motel was very nice with clean sheets, bathroom, and a vacuumed floor. There were no odors and the staff was very helpful. The building is connected to a Chinese restaurant while on the motel side there is a nice bar with a pool table and juke box machine. It was a pretty chill bar. The rafting was superb and it was really nice being able to walk from our room to the meeting area in the back. Well worth a visit!
