Great campground and a nice launching point for hiking katahdin
I have been camping at this site all my life. It is an amazing place to take a family. I've stayed in the bunk house, tent sites and lean-to's... you really can't go wrong. Easy access of trails to the back-country like Russell Pond and to Katahdin via Chimney Pond Trail. I've been to many National and State parks around the country but it's hard to beat BSP... it will always be my favorite!
