What a great place to stay when rafting or hiking in the area. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Campsites were clean and well groomed. (+1 ☆) for no bugs... We will be staying here again.
The campground common hall was very cozy, with a bar, pool tables, comfy camp chairs and all of it with an amazing view of Mt. Katahdin. We stayed at a tent site that was spacious and on nice level ground. I highly recommend this campground if you plan to hike the Mt. Its approximately a 25 min drive to roaring brook trailhead, but coming back to a nice hot shower was well worth it. And no quarters needed for the showers, which is almost unheard of at a campground like this! Will definitely consider staying here again.

Very clean campground. Absolutely no cell service or wifi, which is actually nice. Very clean bathrooms and the outdoor center itself is really nice with a giant fit pit in the center of it. Gorgeous views of Katahdin! The staff are all incredibly friendly. I was sad to leave!
